Delivering sustainability ultimately comes down to how we operate every day.
Running a resort of this scale requires close coordination across many teams — from property and grounds to housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance and logistics. Every department plays a role in using resources responsibly while maintaining the high standards our guests expect.
Over the past year we’ve continued embedding sustainability into day-to-day operations. This includes improving energy efficiency across our buildings, strengthening waste management and making full use of initiatives such as our on-site biodigester, which allows us to process food waste directly on the resort. These practical improvements reduce environmental impact while helping us run a more efficient and resilient business.
Collaboration is central to this progress. Our teams are encouraged to spot opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency and challenge how things are done. Many of the changes we’ve made have come directly from colleagues across the resort who see sustainability as part of their everyday responsibilities.
We’re also working more closely with our supply chain to improve transparency and encourage more sustainable practices. By aligning operations with responsible procurement and supplier engagement, we’re extending our impact beyond the boundaries of the resort.
The progress we’ve made reflects the dedication of teams across the resort, and I’m proud of the role they continue to play in helping Wyboston Lakes operate more responsibly while delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
